SPORTS and games are considered as an essential chapter for the each and every person of the society either to encourage it or take proper initiatives for its promotion with the involvement of the future generation of the society . The S.P.Foundation has been in deliberate efforts to create and build the future generation of the Society towards development of a bright career for the Sports and Games. in this context, the S.P.FOUNDATION has been organizing and encouraging several Sports and Games activities such as: Volley ball, Cricket, Bad Minton, Kabadi, Chess, Carom etc. Among the athletes, School & College Students of the Project area promoting towards establishing a future Sports careers, both State and National level. This activity not only creates an eco-friendly atmosphere but it intertwines with many hearts together with a fellow feeling to achieve a common goal. During the reporting year of 2015-16 , we have Organized Cricket Tournaments , Volley Ball Tournaments, Bad Minton Competitions, Chess & Carom along with Kabadi Games at the Block Head Quarter Nimapada of Puri district to involve the School & College Students , Athletes from different spheres of the district for promotion and creation of a Sports spirit among the inclined youths. The Games & Tournaments are particularly organized i. e Cricket, Volley Ball & Kabadi during January, Chess & Carom in February and Foot Ball from September to November as a regular schedule plan of activities. The Organization seeks participation and encouragements by inviting the PRI Members, Local Govt. Officers, Like Tahasildar, Block Development officers, including representatives from health Department for successful achievement of the objectives of such sports activity. In this connection, the Society distributes Awards, Prizes and incentives to the winning Teams and individuals for their encouragements towards sports and games. It has been decided to give special focus for more sports and games programs during the coming years.
