The Society found its rich heritage background from a rural landscape and commenced its activities providing need based services particularly for the vulnerable groups which basically cover S.C & S.T, Backward Communities along with other poverty stricken people who have no access to the Health Care facilities as per need of the family . The Organization viewed this subject as primary and essential requirements for such neglected families and decided to provide required services to the deserving masses. Thus, Health Check up Camps were organized in different adopted villages of Nimapara, Gop, Kakatpur, Astranga & Puri Sadar Block of Puri district. Majority of populace reside in remote rural sectors are the real beneficiaries in this Campaign. Therefore, the scheduled activities of Health Check Up camps were conducted for the Older People, Women & Children, and Pregnant Women at the respective Block Head Quarters. During this year 2015-16 a total of 10 nos Health check up camps were conducted in the above mentioned area and a total of 350 beneficiaries i.e. female 250 and male 100 received the medical care and attention .The cases being serious and critical were referred to the district Head Quarter’s Hospital, Puri for proper care and better medicals services . The Medical officers from local area Hospitals along with professional Health experts invited from various Medical Units attended the Health Check Camps for providing proper treatment. The local Govt. officials, Bank representatives, including PRI members were invited to encourage the participants.
