ACTIVITY

The Society has been deeply associated with the people of its project area during while going through organizing the people and seeking their involvement and participation in numerous project activities and programs thereof. The poverty stricken Rural people are found with most vulnerable states. The Society S.P.Foundation is committed towards its Constitution and to provide need based services for the Rural Women particularly in order to increase their existing Skill and capacity towards self employment with their individual efforts. Keeping in eye with the above objectives, the Society decided to open training Centres for Women on Tailoring, Stitching & Embroidery particularly for the rural women of the respective Localities . In this connection, a Training Centre for Tailoring, Stitching & Embroidery was opened At-Dhaleswar Gram Panchayat under Nimapada Block of Puri district with an aim to impart such Training /Trainings for the women beneficiaries Particularly . The selection of beneficiaries was done giving preference to the category of SC/ST/OBC along with weaker sections of the respective communities. The organization has identified five Gram Panchayats for the said program namely: 1) Dhaleswar, 2) Antuar , 3) Bhilligram , 4) Terundhia , and 5) Bhogasalada under Nimapara Block in Puri district . During this year of 2015-16 a total of 60 beneficiaries being women were admitted for such training course and completed the scheduled trainings . Professional and Master Trainers were appointed to work as resource persons during the period of 6 month’s course. After completion of the training course the candidates were issued with relevant certificates for the purpose.
